UTAH TIES JURIED SHOW
CUAC offers an annual juried exhibition called Utah Ties for artists who are from or are currently living in Utah, or who have spent time in Utah either professionally or as students. Each year, there are awards totaling $1,000 given to juror’s selections in the show.
The purpose of Utah Ties is to help Utah artists gain exposure both locally and nationally by inviting highly-respected arts professionals from around the country to serve as our jurors.
2016 juror is Rob Greene of Greene Exhibitions in Los Angeles.
Rob grew up in the rural parts of West Virginia and Virginia and lived briefly in Utah to attend BYU where he received a degree in economics. Until 2013, he was employed in the finance departments of MGM Studios and 20th Century Fox. Greene Exhibitions has had shows reviewed in Artforum, LA Times, Flash Art, and Contemporary Art Review Los Angeles.
*The application fee covers our costs in getting the Juror to come to Salt Lake City and covers the prize money for the show. CUAC is a not-for-profit venue to support artists. Any extra money will go towards supporting our exhibition programming.
*Art Club members should check their email for a link to this competition with no application fee. You can join Art Club here before February 15th for this discount.
*Shipping is responsibility of the artist.
